Overview

“2:17” follows Omar, a 22-year-old university student caught in the quiet but overwhelming paralysis of uncertainty. After another long night of studying, he accidentally falls asleep in the library and wakes to an unsettling stillness—the building empty. Disoriented, he rushes to catch the last bus home, unaware that he is stepping into a surreal confrontation with his own mind.
Inside the dimly lit bus, Omar is joined by four mysterious passengers who behave in strangely familiar ways. As the ride progresses, it becomes clear that these figures are not strangers at all, but living embodiments of Omar’s subconscious: his reckless impulses, his cold ambitions, his unresolved regrets, and the innocent child he once was. Their argument escalates into a chaotic tug-of-war over his identity, each voice demanding control of his future.
